Hiatus Is Over...and Pictures!

 After taking a hiatus for a few months to let my wrists rest and get strong, Perfect Yum! is gearing up for a busy fall!

Right after I did the wedding cake in February, I went back to my hand surgeon…and had surgery 2 weeks later to deal with a stitch my body had a bad reaction to. So I had to take a few weeks off from baking, but after a quick recovery, I was back in the kitchen. Here are some pics of my latest cakes!

The reception was held at the beautiful Glendalough Manor in Tyrone, GA. 

The wedding cake is all white cake and filled with Perfect Yum! buttercream.

The groom's cake is yellow and chocolate fudge marble and is filled with raspberry filling. It is iced in chocolate buttercream and has chocolate fondant accent pieces.

Beach Baby

This cake was for a teacher school's baby shower. She and her husband had a tropical beach wedding and now that they are expecting, it was only fitting to have a beach themed baby shower. It was a fun cake to create!
